My top 5 favourite books

Hello lovely people,
How r u guyss ? …. Today I want to share something that is very close to my heart , it has been with me through a lot of years and that isBOOKS ( the title spoiled the suspense but whatever)
I am an obsessive bookworm which means I have more books than I have clothes ( I am wierd I know)
So I decided why not share my top 5 books that I absolutely cherishhhh . Almost all of them are in the romantic genre ( Sorrrrryyyy)
1. The Secret Wish List by Preeti Shenoy .

This book is really engrossing. It truly tells you what friendship, love or even family means to a person. It does kind of get confusing in the middle but trust me it’s worth your time . It revolves around a girl named Diksha and the choices she makes in her life.
2. The Girl Of My Dreams by Durjoy Datta

This is one of those books that I can re-read billions of times and still not get bored . The story is extremely captivating ( look at me using all these big words ) . It’s a love story but not a usual anyone. It’s a mystery as well and by the end of the book you are in love with the characters. Durjoy is one of my favourite writers and he has this ability to directly connect you to his stories because they are so relatable and you actually feel as if you know all the characters in that book❤ I would actually recommend reading alllll of his books ( Yup he is that amazing)
3. Never Kiss Your Best Friend by Sumrit Shahi

By the way that is a great tip if you are not in love with your best friend anyways coming to the topic. This book is Uh-mazing ( that’s why it is in my top 5 duhhhh) . It has this Teenage vibe to it and the choice of words that Sumrit uses is so casual that you instantly feel that he is someone who is directly talking to you. And Durjoy also loves this book ( I know I am obsessed with Durjoy Datta)
4. Starcursed by Nandini Bhajpai

Now this book does not have a lot of romantic sections to it ( I was going to say scenes but never mind) but it still strikes a chord in your heart. It makes you feel different phases of life in a short period of time. It might be boring in the start but once you finish reading , it’s something magical.
5. The Fault In The Stars by John Green

Now I don’t think I need to tell you why I love this book because almost every human being has read it and weeped because they couldn’t handle it..if there was an Oscar for books ,this one would win without any doubt
So yesss these are my top 5 favorite books . I didn’t give you detailed reviews because I really want you guys to go ahead and read these books ( and give me your reviews as well) . Tell me what your favorite books are in the comments below and I will make it a point to read them.
Love, Shabri

  1. While these books aren’t exactly up my alley I will say that it’s awesome that you read a lot more books than I do and encourage your readers to do so. Kudos! I’ll admit that I shed a tear or two when I saw the movie The Fault In Our Stars. 😉

  2. Thanks for sharing! I’m a pretty avid reader and after reading your post I want to pick up The Girl of My Dreams. I highly recommend you read South of the Border, West of the Sun by Haruki Murakami! It’s a romance novel (I love romantic genres too haha) and it definitely tugged at my feelings. That book made me feel so many different emotions!
